Granny square blanket

It started with an idea for a bedspread but when I realized how MANY grandma squares were required, I gave up and made a baby blanket instead. And I’ve also learned that if you’re going to work with grandma squares, attach all ends at once to avoid having to do everything at the end… as I did. Lol.

In the beginning, I decided on a color scheme and then I made different variations, when done I placed them all on the floor and moved the squares around until I found a flow of patterns and colors that I enjoyed. I crochet mine together, you can choose to sew if you prefer but I think it looks nicer to crochet and I also did an decorative edge around the entire blanket. There are many to choose from on Pinterest, I chose Shell Edging for my blanket.

Cute bike bag with reflex yarn

Works on a bicycle as well as on a scooter and somewhere to put a key, patch or whatever is desired. Can be adapted to different sizes and different covers. I made one but you can also do two like here on Pinterest.

Yarn, yarn and yarn!

I don’t have much experience with crocheting yet but my absolute favorite yarn so far is Cotton from Svarta Fåret (Black Sheep). I only change the thickness of the yarn there when required.

You can buy the yarn directly from them or through various subcontractors (I use Adlibris)

I realize that I have started collecting some yarn and as they are so beautiful I have them out in the open and not in a box and I use various fruit bowls for my yarns.

Sleepy Owl – sleeping mask

I made a sleeping mask for a friend of mine, she likes it dark when sleeping and in the same colors as her favorite soccer team (GAIS, of course 😉)

I bought elastic band with buttonholes in so my personal design button came into use. Tadaa!

Amigurumi Pigeon

I made a key chain of this little bird. Hard to get a pointed beak but think it turned out okay. What do you think?

The pattern said that you should have a gray-colored felt fabric around the eyes but it fell off so I used white yarn instead, the yarn ends became like eyelashes. Cute!

Lovey blanket – 70s inspired

There are really beautiful designs on Lovey blankets on Pinterest but this time I used a mix of different patterns for my lovey blanket and think it turned out really well!
For example, I wanted a little bigger ears and smaller head and adjusted for that and crocheted the arms on the head before attaching everything to the blanket. And as usual, I used floss (without taste) to sew everything together. Searched through Pinterest for eyes that would fit and found these.

Business card

I imagine a Business Card could be a step closer to a proper Business …. or are they obsolete, what do you think?

I designed this with inspiration from by Blog´s color and font. I’m very pleased with how it turned out.

I still do most things as “labor of love” but I recently had a few commissioning jobs (see pictures below) it was great fun and am so proud of the outcome!

I’m open to more so if there’s interest and you´re looking for that special gift please send me an email and we´ll take it from there.
